Same luxe experience, new location
We’ve had some exciting news under wraps that we’re now able to share with you!
From May, Alexandra Anne will be in a new, and equally beautiful, location in Hathersage. Hathersage is under 20 minutes from Pilsley, so we’re staying close to the original home of Alexandra Anne.
Chatsworth Estate will be converting our existing space into an extension of the Devonshire Arms Pub next door. So you’ll be able to visit this space and gorgeous location again in the future, just for a different experience!
When’s the big day?
At the end of April we’ll be moving over to our new space, ready to continue providing the Alexandra Anne experience we already do, just in the new Peak District location. We’ll only be closed for one week as we transition, and rest assured that if you’re booked in with us you won’t be affected with any re-scheduling.
We’re currently busy finalising all of the interior details, layouts and feel. It’s going to be beautiful and very ‘us’.
What’s the new place like?!
We can hear you thinking this through the airwaves. And it’s an important question - we’ve crafted our bridal experience and service over the years and it’s integral that we keep this unchanged when we move.
As with our current shop, the new location is a heritage building with bundles of charm, original beams and that gorgeous Derbyshire stone. As for how fabulous the interiors are going to be, you’ll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for sneaky previews! Above you can see the first snapshot in the image of our initial concept board for the feel of the space. Beaut, or what?!
We’ll be honest when we say it’s going to be the end of a chapter to leave a place we already love to bits, but we’re excited for what this new chapter will bring and of course all the brides we’ll continue to meet.
I’ve got an appointment from May, how will I know where to go?
If you’ve booked an appointment with us from May 4th, our reminder email will provide instructions of how to get to us (expect this to land in your inbox a few days beforehand). The shop’s new location will be Main Road, Hathersage, Hope Valley, S32 1BB. It’s a hop and a skip away from our current location, so we’re not expecting it to add any significant travel time to our brides.
What is there to do in Hathersage?
Hathersage is a gem of the Peak District and a hotspot for everything from pubs, cafes and independent shops, to beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Nestled in the Hope Valley it’s a wonderful spot for throwing on those walking shoes (after trying our dresses!) and exploring all the scenery has to offer.
