How much will it cost to get my wedding dress professionally cleaned?
The answer to this depends on two things: the shape/structure of your wedding dress (not your dress size), and what you want to include in your cleaning service. The below are an approximate guide at the time of writing.
Slim fitting bridal gown cleaning
If you’ve gone for a slinky wedding dress with no train or petticoats:
Dress cleaning = aprox £175
Dress cleaning + preservation box = aprox £220
Pre-wedding dress cleaning = £135
A-line bridal gown cleaning
This option applies to most A-line bridal gowns, including a small train and up to two petticoats:
Dress cleaning = aprox £190
Dress cleaning + preservation box = aprox £235
Pre-wedding dress cleaning = £150
Ballgown-style bridal dress cleaning
For fuller skirts with train and 3-4 petticoats:
Dress cleaning = aprox £205
Dress cleaning + preservation box = aprox £250
Pre-wedding dress cleaning = £165
Your cleaned dress will be steamed and packed into a handmade, acid-free box and protected with layers of acid-free tissue. This will safeguard your wedding dress from dust and light damage and prevent discolouration for the long term.
