Shoot #8 – Barnstormer at White Syke
I’ve long admired Jenny Appleton’s wedding photography from afar, so I snapped up the chance to work with her on this styled shoot at White Syke Fields near York.
Originally we were going to use a dress for the shoot, but then we decided to rock this bedazzling Jesus Peiro 154 top and trousers combo instead.
I love the embroidered 154 top with its sequins and beading, and the wide-leg / high-waist 154 trousers are designed to pleat softly over the hips so they show off shape without being too clingy. When you’re stood still the trousers could easily be mistaken for a skirt, and when worn with this top they look like a full jumpsuit. Plus you get the added bonus of having two separate pieces to wear for future non-wedding events. (The top works great with a pair of high-waisted jeans. Perfect for barnstorming down the disco.)
The Jesus Peiro Bandeau headband completed the look, along with some statement earrings from our newest accessories designer Maison Sabben.
Special shout-out too for Moss Floral Artistry in Manchester for their incredible Iron Throne-style floral display!
Enjoy the pics!
